About Dr Akthar
Dr Naveed Akhtar qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Medical School in 2003 and has over 20 years of experience in medicine.
He completed surgical training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, achieving Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) in 2007.
He subsequently trained as a GP and became a principal GP in 2009. He is based at Chigwell Medical Centre, where his clinical interests include minor surgery, musculoskeletal medicine and integrated healthcare.
Alongside his medical career, Dr Akhtar has developed experience in non-surgical aesthetic treatments and medical education.
His broad medical background brings an understanding of facial anatomy, patient assessment and individual treatment planning to his aesthetic practice.
