Microneedling
Microneedling creates tiny micro-injuries in the skin, triggering the body's natural healing process and stimulating collagen production. This treatment effectively addresses fine lines, wrinkles, acne, scarring, sun damage, and enlarged pores. It can also treat delicate areas such as under the eyes to reduce lines, eye bags, and dark circles, lift hooded eyelids, and refine the lip area by enhancing the lip line, reducing fine lines, and promoting a fuller appearance.

Mesotherapy
During microneedling, we use active ingredients on your skin, which penetrate more deeply through the microchannels created. This allows your skin to absorb up to 80% more of these potent, sterile ingredients, mimicking the effects of traditional mesotherapy—where products are injected directly into the skin. However, instead of needles, our microneedling pen creates 2,200 micropunctures per second, delivering the products in a manner similar to nappage mesotherapy. Our advanced mesotherapy solutions can treat aging, acne, scarring, pigmentation, as well as dry or dehydrated skin.

The iMed Pen glides over the skin creating millions of fine, vertical fractional channels. These channels can carry up to 80% more topical nutrients deeper into the skin.

The micro-injuries trigger a natural process of repair, increasing the production of collagen and elastin and visibly improving a wide range of skin concerns.

The 16-needle cartridge provides 2200 puncture channels per second, which offers shorter procedure times and covers wider treatment areas.

Radio Frequency speeds up collagen and elastin production whilst tightening the skin. Microneedling kickstarts the healing response and encourages collagen and elastin production. When we microneedle we are limited to a certain depth on the face, and we are mainly working on skin texture, but we don’t achieve deeper lifting and tightening. So, by using radio frequency and microneedling together it helps to stimulate collagen at a deeper level and speeds up the results of the treatment.

These types of devices have been around for a little while now which means longer term results are starting to be seen. As we know everyone’s skin is unique to them and one size doesn’t fit all. While the skin may be red and inflamed immediately afterwards it will visibly calm down within hours, but the process is continuing under the surface. In fact, the healing process can continue for many months so over treating and over stimulating this natural process can lead to problems which may not become apparent for several years.

This is why it is so important to treat the skin gently – as all the famous skin experts say, “Less really is more”.

By performing these two treatments separately we can negate the chances of over treating and it allows you as the therapist to have more control.
