Pulse Sculpt combines:
Radio Frequency (RF) – heats tissue to support fat metabolism and skin tightening
HIEMS (High Intensity Electromagnetic Muscle Stimulation) – induces supramaximal muscle contractions to build and tone muscle
Used for: abdomen, glutes, thighs, arms
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Absolute Contraindications
Pregnancy
Pacemaker or implanted electronic device
Metal implants in treatment area
Copper IUD (if treating abdomen/pelvis)
Epilepsy
Active cancer
Hernia in treatment area
Recent abdominal or muscle surgery (within 6 months unless medically cleared)
Severe diastasis recti (clinical assessment required)
Active infection or inflammation in treatment area
Severe cardiovascular disease
Thrombosis or clotting disorders
Relative Contraindications (Clinical Assessment Required)
Postpartum (less than 3 months)
Mild diastasis recti
Autoimmune disorders
Diabetes
Varicose veins in treatment area
Significant obesity (protocol modification required)
Recent injectable treatments in area
Intrauterine devices (case-by-case depending on location treated)
PRE-TREATMENT ADVICE
Avoid heavy meals 1–2 hours before treatment.
Stay well hydrated 24 hours prior.
Avoid alcohol 24 hours before.
Avoid intense exercise on the day of treatment.
Remove all metal jewellery before treatment.
Inform practitioner of any implants or recent procedures.
Wear comfortable clothing.
AFTERCARE ADVICE
Immediate Response
Muscle soreness similar to an intense workout (24–72 hours).
Mild redness or warmth from RF.
Temporary muscle fatigue.
First 24–48 Hours
Stay hydrated to support lymphatic drainage.
Light movement or walking is encouraged.
Avoid excessive heat (sauna, steam) for 24 hours.
Avoid alcohol.
Ongoing Advice
Maintain adequate protein intake to support muscle building.
Continue regular exercise for optimal results.
Results typically develop over 4–6 weeks.
A course of 4–8 sessions is commonly recommended.
